As the app announces its launch on Twitter, it needs:

The CEO wanted the art direction to be geared toward different forms of gambling, because “Crypto is basically gambling on your phone, bro.”
To make the casino aesthetic come through, I adapt a flexible approach to branding and brand recall. Typography, color palette, brand mark — I can modulate 2 of these elements as long as the remaining element is consistent and noticeable. Invites are adapted into 3 different formats

Rainmaker prioritizes humor and relatability over uniformity, so I explored many NYC-centric aesthetics and images and cryto-related humor.

Popular plastic bag motif with tech-bro Twitter catchphrase on reusable canvas totes and paper bags.
Elliptic curve hoodies
Elliptic curve is a graphic representation of an equation used in cryptography and cyber security, immediately recognizable to people in the field.
Dice shirt
Since the Rainmaker CEO was especially taken with the dice invite card, I decide to adapt the design onto a shirt.
NFT Motion Design
To create novelty items for users, I create a hand-drawn animation of the dice invite card so that Rainmaker can turn it into an NFT.
