36 Streets & Trades
2022

Hanoi originally was a market town: people from all over the Red River Delta would flock in with their wares on mules and horses, and craftsmen would come to make a living here. Each street would sell one kind of wares and be named after these wares. This poster series walks viewers through the old streets that still retain these quirks. Each store, in true Hanoian fashion, comes with a street-smart dog.

Cafés with a View
2021

Travel posters and merchandise that celebrate the complicated history of Hanoi, Vietnam: a city colonized by the Chinese and the French, underwent a Communist Revolution, then Westernized by Americans. The sights include St. Joseph’s Cathedral, Long Bien Bridge, Train Alley, and West Lake. They are accompanied by the our famed drink: condensed milk with iced coffee.
